Wilson's Snipe is a relatively uncommon species in Lycoming County seen mostly in March and April, but also occasionally in the fall. The species is secretive and well-camouflaged, so they are probably underreported. They can be found in wet farm fields and in marshy areas. Mill St. seems to produce as many records as anywhere else in the county, due to the combination of suitable habitat and good birding coverage.
