Pectoral Sandpiper is an uncommon-to-rare shorebird in Lycoming County, with only a handful of records, but it is probably underreported. In 2015, a single bird was found in a puddle near the mulch pile at Indian Park on 9/22 (eBird Checklist), and was seen through 9/25. There were multiple sightings of the species in September 2018, mostly in Nisbet.
