Harlequin Duck

Harlequin Duck - 12/20/2011, Williamsport Dam © Nate Fronk
Harlequin Duck is fairly rare in Pennsylvania, and there are two known Lycoming County records. The first county record was found December 20, 2011 at the Williamsport Dam. The second county record was found November 13, 2019 on Lycoming Creek near Elm Park in Williamsport, which seemed to move to the Williamsport Dam in December 2019. It's a species to be aware of but not to expect in Lycoming County very frequently.
