Eastern Phoebe is an extremely common species found in Lycoming County from early-March through late-October, and sometimes stray individuals later into the fall. The species is known for its distinctive call and the habit of tail-bobbing. They frequently nests near houses, and, for most people, is the most familiar of our flycatcher species.
